A quote from this episode has been featured in the Quote-Of-The-Week.
Synopsis - The crew find a damaged Talarian vessel with a crew of five unconscious teenagers. When one of the boys, known as Jono turns out to be human, Picard elects to keep him on board in order that he may be re-united with his family on Earth, But Jono, or Jeremiah Rossa doesn't like that idea.
Suddenly Human studies the emotional trauma of a young boy who was taken captive at a young age, and raised among, not to mention as his captors. Then, to be thrust into a situation where, what to us looks like a rescue, to the boy it's being taken away from everything he knows. This episode covers some key child developments; particularly pertaining to boys. It exemplifies, how we train our boys today to act: to hide their emotions and always be strong and tough. Picard does an excellent job at bringing Jono around and drawing out his emotions: by meeting him on his level, and engaging him in a game of racketball. This is then followed by time with someone his own age who he can relate to; in this case Wesley.
