Synopsis - While Picard, Troi, and Geordi are being held captive by the Borg, Lore is quietly feeding Data negative emotions, and asking him to perform deadly experiments on Geordi. Riker and Worf, in their search for the captain and his party, re encounter Hugh, who is now upset at the fact that they taught him individuality. Meanwhile, after taking the Enterprise back to Federation space to launch a signal buoy, following a Borg attack, Dr. Crusher and the skeleton crew aboard return to face the Borg ship and try and rescue the rest of the crew.
