Synopsis - While searching for their missing captain, Riker, Troi, Crusher, and Worf, discover that Picard was murdered by a group of mercenaries in a bar near the Ruins of Aphir. After locating the mercenaries, Riker is captured by them; and after firing on the Enterprise, they disappear from the Enterprise's sensors. On the mercenary ship, after being tortured, someone resembling Picard orders Riker's death. But has Riker turned as well when he remotely lowers the Enterprise's shields in order for the mercenary ship to fire on it?
