Synopsis - While awaiting the results of their personnel reviews to determine promotions, tensions among four young ensigns (one of whom was involved in the "Colvured Starbust" incident at the academy with Wesley, in The First Duty) is greatly increased, especially when two of them are up for the same post. While receiving a tough time from the senior officers, three of them are asked to help an injured Cardassian, who was brought on board from a damaged escape pod, and then ordered to keep their mouths shut about it.
